“Monte da Quinta – Lagar” (mill)

This project consisted of the construction of a new building for the production of olive oil, alongside a house for people related to this activity, its respective annexes, and the renovation of an ancient animal shelter, now destined to a showroom.

Given the extent of land the agricultural society has under cultivation in this área – quite vast  – the construction of a mill is essential for the investment already made, which will create jobs and add value to the region’s economy – not only from the strictly agricultural point of view through the production of olive oil, but also for tourism, given that this activity can be incorporated into the business this society undertakes in this área, and which will enhance the region’s attractiveness to tourists.

Sheds for storing agricultural tools were added to the mill and to the production and storage areas. This group of buildings completes the built infrastructure essential for the viability of the investment, as mentioned above.
